Terms and conditions

This website is operated by Altavalor Business Solutions Private Limited (“Altavalor”, “we”, “us”, “our”), which operates On Thin Ice, KAAS and Himalayan Argali. By using this site, registering for a programme or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Last updated 1 September 2026

1. General

We may refuse service, refuse or cancel any order, and limit quantities, at our discretion. We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page; the version in force is the one published when you make your purchase.

We aim to keep the site accurate but do not warrant that it is free of errors. Where a price, description or availability is shown incorrectly, we may correct it and cancel any affected order, refunding in full.

Payment confirms your order and your place on the list. Until payment is received, an order or registration is held but not confirmed.

You may not use this site unlawfully, attempt to interfere with its security, or scrape, copy or resell its content without our written permission.

2. Products

Product images are shown as accurately as we can manage; screens vary and colours may differ slightly. Made-to-order items are produced for your order and are subject to our Cancellation, Returns & Refunds policy. Shipping timelines are on our Shipping & Delivery page.

We currently sell sports and performance equipment. We do not sell food products.

3. Programmes — who may register

Registration for a camp, workshop or coaching programme must be made by a parent or legal guardian where the participant is under 18.

A place is confirmed only when payment has been received. An unpaid registration holds a place but does not confirm one.

The guardian confirms that the information given is accurate, and undertakes to tell us of anything that changes before the programme begins.

4. Programmes — safety, medical and conduct

Medical disclosure

The guardian must tell us, at registration, of any medical condition, injury, allergy or medication relevant to safe participation in ice-skating, inline skating or physical training. We may refuse participation where we cannot safely accommodate a condition.

Assumption of risk

Skating and physical training carry an inherent risk of injury. Participants and guardians accept that risk. This does not limit our responsibility for our own negligence, and nothing in these terms removes any right you have under Indian law.

Conduct

We may refuse entry to, or remove from a session, any participant whose behaviour puts themselves or others at risk. No refund is due where a participant is removed for conduct.

Supervision

Guardians of participants under 12 must remain on site for the duration of the session. Participants aged 12 and over may be dropped off and collected, and remain the guardian's responsibility before and after session times.

5. Photography and video

We photograph and film sessions, camps and events, and use the results in our newsletters, on our website and in materials about our work. If you do not want your child photographed or filmed, tell us in writing at altavalor@gmail.com and we will exclude them. You may withdraw permission at any time; we will stop using new images, though material already published may remain in circulation.

6. Liability and governing law

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law. Subject to that, our liability in connection with any order or registration is limited to the amount you paid for it.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat have jurisdiction.
